A Conversation about Gender/LGBTQ issues and Cultural Competency

The Office of the Bishop and the Faith Formation Office invite you to a conversation on gender/LGBTQ issues on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 1-4 PM in Bloedel Hall at St Mark’s Cathedral (1245 Tenth Avenue East/Seattle WA 98102). There is no cost to attend this workshop.

We know that access to current information and innovative skills are crucial building blocks in the on-going process of individual and organizational learning. Brennon Ham, a trainer from the Northwest Network, is joining us to provide training in cultural competency in the queer community. You will walk away from the training with further tools, language, and resources for a more inclusive and accessible space for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer communities with specific highlight towards youth communities.

To RSVP for this event please email Matt Koski mkoski@ecww.org or call 206-325-4200. A light lunch will be served so please be sure to tell Matt about any dietary allergies or restrictions. To assist us in planning please RSVP by May 2.
